When was the last time you read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill?  For me, it’s been about 15 years . . . or more!  Well, I just started to reread it and it amazes me how much I forgot or perhaps how much I am picking up that I didn’t pick up before.   Do you know what I mean?

Within the third Chapter, simply titled Faith, are a few gems; one of which I would like to share with you . . .

The law of autosuggestion, through which any person may rise to altitudes of achievement which stagger the imagination, is well described in the following verse:

If you think you are beaten, you are,

If you think you dare not, you don’t.

If you like to win, but you think you can’t,

It is almost certain you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost,

For out in the world we find,

Success begins with a fellow’s will –

It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,

You’ve got to think high to rise,

You’ve got to be sure of yourself before

You can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go

To the stronger or fastest man,

But soon or late the man who wins

Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!

Nuf Said . . .

Mother’s Day is a week away.  Big surprise?  These special days have a tendency to sneak up on us, don’t they?

Times a wastin’, no time to lose; gotta get out there to pick out that one great card for that special woman in your life – Mom!  And, . . . even though she’s not your mom, your wife is the mother of your children; you better get one for her too.

Instead of going to the store why not send your Mother;s Day cards out on me?  I’ll show you how I send cards online; a genuine, real, physical card mailed with a first class stamp.  In fact, with my system you can even put pictures of your children or your entire family on your card.  You can’t do that with a store-bought card.

Send me your contact information on the right and I’ll show you how easy and how much fun it is to send love and appreciation through the mail.  Oh, and one more thing . . .

Thank you!

It is good to say thank you.  It shows appreciation.  It has been said that the number one desire people have is to feel appreciated.  In fact, we crave it.

For any business expressing thanks builds loyalty, and people like referring business to those who are gratefull.  On a personal level showing that you are thankful helps build relationships.  But how do you do it.

A big smile and a sincere “thank you” is a great way to start.  Whether it is in person or over the phone, my patients typically hear me saying, “Thank you for your trust and confidence”.  While the spoken word is paramount, the written word is lasting, but it has to be sincere.  Mary Kay instructs her associates to send 3-handwritten notes everyday before bed.  Joe Girard is listed in the Guinness Book as the world greatest salesman.  He send several greeting cards every single day just to tell people, “I like you”.

With the advent of email and text messaging this is a quick and easy medium to express thanks, although it is very impersonal.  Even if you send one of those fancy e-cards, chances are that before the day is done it will be deleted.

For years I sent what I used to call love notes to my patients to thank them.  When we had time and we thought about it, my receptionist would address 10-15 envelopes and I would hand write a brief love note.

Most recently, I switched over to sending greeting cards instead.  Why greeting cards?  Because they are more memorable and more lasting.  A greeting card can be stood up on a desk or a shelf.  Cards can sit on the shelf for day or even weeks at a time serving as a reminder for them and to others that they are appreciated and loved.

If you would like information about the system I use to economically and efficiently send thanks and build relations just fill in your contact information on the right.  Oh, and one more thing . . .

Thank you!

We call them a prompting.  That’s when you get a thought that you should connect with someone special in your life.  It might be your spouse, a child, a sibling, your mother or father, a good friend, a co-worker, an old friend from high school, a teacher or coach . . . Really, the list could go on and on.

So you get these promptings.  How quickly do they go in one brain and out the other?  For those promptings that stick for more than 30 seconds, when was the last time you acted on your one?  You know, go to the card store, pick out a really nice card, sit down to write a heart-felt message, address the envelope, put a stamp on, and drop it in the mail or go to the post office.  Chances are you did not.  Am I right?

Why not?

It’s Inconvenient
It’s Expensive
You Forgot

Think about what it would be like if you received a heart-felt card in the mail.  Wouldn’t it make you feel good?  With the convenience of emails and instant messaging we’ve forgotten about the power of personal notes sent via snail-mail.  In fact, now-a-days only about 2-3% of our mail is wanted.  The rest is junk or bills.

What if I told you that there was a way to send a heart-felt, handwritten note of love and appreciation from the convenience of your home or office, right from your computer?  In fact, you can try it for free and without any obligation.

To get you free gift account simply fill in your contact information on the top right and we will show you how to use the system; it only takes about 15 minutes.

Thanks for your time,

Peter

It really is true what they say, “Appreciation wins over self-promotion everytime”.  Whether it is my patients in the office or the wonderful people I meet outside the office, not a day goes by that someone tells me how much they appreciate me.  Why do they do this?   Because I show them and tell them how much I appreciate them with a heart-felt card through the mail.  Yes, that’s right, good ol’-fashioned snail mail.  Think about how easy it is to send email.  It has really become so impersonal.  Understand that I use email all the time.  It is the best way I know of to send a quick informative message.  It just doesn’t touch the heart.

Now think about the last time you went to the store and purchased a real honest to goodness greeting card, filled it out, put a first-class stamp on it and dropped it in the mail.  If it was a heart-felt message wasn’t it appreciated?  You bet it was!  People recognize the import of this kind of message.

Now, how would you like to send that heart-felt message, in your own handwriting without having to go to the card store?  How would you like to send a first-class card for about a dollar, postage included?  Think for a moment how much of a hero you could be if you started sending these heart-felt messages to your family, friends, and business associates!  Maya Angelou says it the best . . .

People will forget what you said . . .
They will forget what you did . . .
But, they will never forget
How you made them feel!
Appreciation is a number one human need.
For information about how you can show appreciation conveniently and affordably just fill in the contact information on the right.  I’ll give you a chance to send a few cards for free, on me!  Absolutely no obligation; I just love showing people this incredible program.
Just fill in the contact information and I will give you a call.
Thnaks,
Peter

It seems like it was only yesterday that . . . OK so it was 25+ years ago when as a young chiropractic student I recall at least one of my professors saying, “When you graduate you’re going to make a professional income.”  Back then in the midst of sweating through test after test those were very exciting words.

Here it is some 25 years later and, while there was a time when I actually approached making a professional income, the truth is that most people would not consider my current practice income as being “professional”.  After speaking with many others in the health care profession, chiropractor and MD alike, it would seem that I am not alone.  Why?  Two reasons: one, the economy, and two, health care reimbursements.  Insurance companies are contributing less, while consumers are required to dig deeper into their pockets, which brings us back to “reason one”.

While we sit back and wait for health care reform, which is another discussion altogether, many of us have no choice but to supplement their income by joining one of the fastest growing industries.  Specifically, I am referring to the home-based business industry.  The allure of working part-time from home while developing a residual income is appealing to many, not just health care workers.  Many who have been displaced from the workforce are looking to this option, but which company do you join?  Which one is good?  They all claim to be the best, don’t they?  Click here for some honest guidelines and answers to these questions.  When asked enter Invitation Code LEISURE.
