Whether you are building a business or enhancing personal relationships, Appreciation Marketing is the science of showing appreciation to win friends and influence people.  Dale Carnegie wrote about this many years ago in his book, How to win friends and influence people. More recently, Tommy Wyatt and Curtis Lewsey’s book, Appreciation Marketing, gets right to the point.

Check out this very brief video to see how you can appreciate the important people in your life.

Thank you, Peter, for these hints of appreciation to do so as well. I learnt it many years ago with client-cards from some cosmeticians and hairdressers. In Germany normally it is used rarely from restaurants or other kind of personal service-contacters – but it starts. I’m hoping that this feeling of being personal and friendly will be global very soon. I learnt your kind of sending LOVE again from the very good warm hearted people in the wellness/wellbeing/anti-aging/natural-nutrition business. They think about future life. They know what runs the world – NOT THE MONEY in the 1st part, it only seems so. They show that they care of themselves and their family’s and their friends life. I feel that this is the real appreciation to have a natural warm hearted way of life = way of business. I’m sure that is my way of living and working as well, since I read the books of Dale Carnegie.
A real big thankyou for yourself and for your tweeting with me “from another continent”, big hugs to you, Irmela

    Irmela,

It is still amazing to me that Twitter is a world-wide phenomenon.

It would seem that your side of the world may not be so different when it comes to showing appreciation. It is very true that as a wellness chiropractor I have expressed appreciation for the trust and confidence patients have in me; fellow colleagues frequently do the same, especially the smart ones. But here’s what I have learned, try sending a note or a card of appreciation to your bank, your favorite restaurant, your auto service center, or any other business you frequent and notice the service you get afterward. People thrive on being appreciated, and I couldn’t agree more about it being nice if it were more universally practiced around the world.

I sincerely appreciate you for following me and I am elated that you enjoy my messages. From the other side of the world I am humbled.

    Sincerely, Peter
